Leading researchers with rich image processing technology and people who have been working in digital imaging for many years have gathered to develop a more meaningful and intuitive way of expressing the data that customers need, including images and sensor data.
Along with the development of digital technology, FOCUS has been developing video security products since its establishment with abundant system design capabilities and unrivaled video processing technology. As a result of these efforts, we were able to have Edge IoT Devices such as camera lineup (4K) equipped with AI function, various storage devices and environmental sensors, and we are contributing to various industries by developing cameras and server storage devices with smart AI camera technology and system design technology, and providing innovative integrated video control platforms to our customers with flexible UX and event processing technology.
As a result, we have entered into technical agreements with various overseas companies to supply various products, and we have developed video control solutions for domestic dispatch security companies to supply products. In particular, we have been selected as an excellent procurement business with products based on intelligent AI technology, contributing greatly to local governments as well as domestic businesses.
EDGE COMPUTING
While most AI technologies operate on servers such as supercomputers, FOCUS H&S uses EDGE COMPUTING technology to apply all of these technologies to cameras. Face recognition cameras using object recognition and various image analysis technologies, number recognition cameras, and EDGE image analysis servers have already been developed and used in various fields as representative products. For various cases that EDGE cannot do, data is processed through UVMS, an image analysis server.
With many years of experience, we already have datasets for many cases across the industry. We believe that the combination of EDGE camera technology through load balancing and UVMS analysis server capable of more diverse video analysis is a unique advantage of FOCUS H&S that can quickly respond to various cases in the ever-changing field. These metadata are collected from the CLOUD platform and used as basic data for big data analysis. All FOCUS H&S products are equipped with AI object recognition, and if all products are compatible, focus products can be used if video analysis is needed throughout society.
AI PLATFORM EXTENSION
FOCUS H&S optimized our core AI technologies and installed them on Edge Devices (IP Cameras / Access Control Equipment), and secured meaningful metadata by applying these products to various business areas. As a result, we are expanding our business area widely by securing not only the Edge AI engine, but also data sets. When these metadata are accumulated on the CLOUD server, big data analysis through GPU operation is possible.
Along with the AI engine installed in all products, FOCUS H&S enables smart AI-linked analysis through data sharing as well as linkage with other products through a flexible camera API interface.
