An AI (artificial intelligence) solution that can easily find missing children and elderly people with dementia with just one face photo is being released. A solution that detects suspicious behavior of voice phishing criminals using AI and alerts investigative authorities is also being released.

Focus HNS, an AI-based physical security and control solution company, announced on the 3rd that it will launch two solutions, including a ‘missing child search solution’ and a ‘voice phishing accident prevention solution’ that can contribute to social safety based on its own AI technology accumulated so far.

The company explains that the ‘missing person search solution’ can be used not only for missing persons but also for searching and tracking adult missing persons and wanted persons. Since only the main facial features of the person being searched are digitized, faster and more accurate searches are possible, and since facial images are not stored, it has a great advantage in terms of protecting biometric personal information. It can search and track multiple people at the same time and can be installed in addition to existing CCTV cameras.

In addition, voice phishing crimes often occur when victims are induced to withdraw cash from an ATM or when the cashier of a criminal organization withdraws cash. Focus HNS took note of the fact that, unlike normal deposits and withdrawals by individuals, criminals talk to the person they are talking to for a certain amount of time. It developed a technology that analyzes the pattern of the withdrawal person’s abnormal behavior.

Focus HN's 'Voice Phishing Accident Prevention Solution' analyzes footage from cameras attached to ATMs and, if the withdrawal pattern is suspected to be voice phishing, displays a warning light and sounds a speaker warning and sends a real-time alert to the financial institution or police control room.

Focus HNS has currently proposed introducing a voice phishing incident prevention solution to Japan's largest security guard company. It is expected that the solution will be supplied to ATMs at local financial institutions in Japan through the company's service channels.

Kim Dae-jung, CEO of Focus HNS, said, “These solutions are significant not only in that they help companies achieve their original goal of generating profits, but also in that they introduce innovative technologies for social safety,” adding, “I hope that they will be of some help in creating a society where members can live with peace of mind.”
