Suwon City attracts investment from ‘Focus HNS’, an AI cutting-edge company

[Suwon=Newsis] Reporter Jongdae Park = FOCUS H&S, the largest artificial intelligence (AI) security control solution company in Korea, is moving its headquarters to Suwon, Gyeonggi-do.
On the 13th, Suwon City signed an investment agreement with Focus H&S at the City Hall situation room to establish a head office and research center in Suwon City.
According to the agreement, Focus H&S decided to make efforts to develop the local industry by establishing a head office and research center in Suwon and actively investing in it to create quality jobs.
The city plans to speedily handle all administrative procedures, such as various permits and permits for the establishment of the headquarters and research institute, and provide administrative and financial support to ensure the smooth implementation of the Focus H&S project.
Founded in July 2012, FOCUS H&S is a KOSDAQ-listed company and a one-stop solution company with hardware, software, and intelligent AI technologies.
It is showing continuous growth, recording sales of KRW 32.8 billion in 2020, KRW 48.2 billion in 2021, and 61.4 KRW billion in 2022.
The signing ceremony was attended by Suwon Mayor Jaejoon Lee, Focus H&S CEO Daejung Kim, and Vice President Jaehyeon Jeon.
CEO Kim expressed, “I have lived in Suwon for 35 years since 1988, and I am grateful to have such a good opportunity in Suwon, which I love.” And he said, “I want to use AI technology to benefit society more and help the socially underprivileged.”
Mayor Lee said, “Suwon has formed a new relationship with a company with the best security control technology in Korea.” And he said, “I look forward to the future growth potential of FOCUS H&S, whose sales have tripled in the past four years.”
